Some Highlights
2012 Ghana, Africa
My 2 week trip to Ghana included serving a “Thanksgiving meal” to families / individuals at a leper camp, throwing a party for a local school / orphanage, visiting villages to share our testimonies and talk about Jesus, etc.
2013 Ghana, Africa
Returning to Ghana included speaking about identity to an all girl’s school of 2000+ students, helping the fishermen pull in the mile long fishing nets, dancing with the unforgettable student in her wheelchair, etc.
2019 "Abba's Joy" Name Created!
Though I have been involved in and have had a heart for missions, worship, writing, encouragement, identity, and all that Abba’s Joy encompasses for many years, the name “Abba’s Joy” was officially birthed in 2019! Community pages were created and posts / updates became more accessible.
2019 Shepetivka, Ukraine
My 2 week trip to Ukraine included serving at the Inspiration Centre, teaching English to various groups of students, staying at an orphanage / school to participate in VBS style days of fun and teaching, speaking at a women’s group, visiting Roma Gypsy families in their homes for tea and Jesus encouragement, etc.
2020 Started "Finding Abba's Joy in the Waiting"
“Finding Abba’s Joy in the Waiting” is an online community geared towards women who have the desire to be married and are looking for a community to walk through singleness with. In this group, we pray together for our future spouses, encourage each other through shared scriptures, personal testimonies, resources / materials, words of life and hope, etc.
2022 Abba’s Joy Website Went Live!
The Abba’s Joy website officially went live in February of 2022.
2022 Released “Audience of One”
The song “Audience of One” was written and released in February 2022. At the end of the day, no matter what I write, what I do, who sees or hears…I do it for an audience of one.
