“Lemuel Bibimauri, who has been on staff at YWAM Townsville, Australia since 2017, & Abigail Bibimauri who has been on staff since 2020.
We met here on base, and got married November 20, 2021.
Here at YWAM Townsville we serve as full time volunteers where we care, connect, serve and build in communities across Australia, Papua New Guinea, and beyond through four focus areas: training, medical ships, youth work, and radio.
We are each placed in certain ministry areas here at the YWAM Townsville base.
Lemuel is placed on the property team where he makes sure our base is running smoothly, works on current construction developments, which right now includes a youth precinct, that will open to engage with the youth of Townsville.
Abigail is placed with the radio station 99.9 Live FM here on base as a radio announcer, social media manager and program manager. Reaching the Townsville community, and hopefully branching out to regional Australia and Papua New Guinea, to remind people it's good to be alive!”

Prayer Requests
1. Youth Adventures – October 2025 Next month we’ll be staffing Youth Adventures, a discipleship program for young people. We’ll be hosting a group of 8–14 boys from more challenging family and school backgrounds. The week will include several days of teaching followed by an outreach to Palm Island. Please be praying over us as we lead, and over each of these young men as they encounter God in a fresh way.
Prayer Points: For God to prepare the hearts of the boys before they come For safety, unity, and openness during teaching and outreach For Lemi & Abby to lead with wisdom, patience, and God’s love For breakthrough moments where each boy encounters God personally
2. Screen & Media Course – November 2025 Abby has been leading a year-long Screen & Media course, training young women in radio, storytelling, and communication. Three modules are complete, with the final one running this November, and graduation scheduled for December.
Prayer Points: That the girls would finish strong and walk in confidence as communicators God is raising up That their learning would be more than practical skills, but also a tool for sharing God’s truth and hope For Abby to have wisdom, fresh vision, and God’s heart as she teaches the final module For lasting fruit beyond the classroom, impacting their work and their calling
3. Future Ministry Direction Recently, God has been speaking to Lemi & Abby about new steps in ministry. While exciting, these callings can also feel stretching and at times overwhelming.
Prayer Points: For faith to rise as they step into what God is calling them to For clarity and peace in seeking God’s direction For strength, courage, and joy in the process For God’s timing and provision in the new season ahead
